The Alliance of Professional Health Advocates, operated by Consumer Health Advocacy, Inc., is committed to respecting the privacy and security of our users. Our goal is to provide you with the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you.

To demonstrate our commitment to your privacy, we have prepared this statement disclosing our privacy practices. Here you will learn what personal identifying information of yours is collected, how and when we might use your information, how we protect your information, who has access to your information, and how you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

We will not disclose your information to any person or organization outside the Alliance and its parent company, Consumer Health Advocacy, Inc., except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

When you sign up for membership, we will ask you for some personal information.  Explanations for the use of this information depend on the membership you choose, and are listed with each membership application form, which are available at www.myAPHA.org

If you provide us with your email address, you are giving us permission to contact you when there is information to share through our newsletter or other notices. At any time, you may request to unsubscribe (“opt-out”) from receiving notices from us via an unsubscribe link or by emailing admin@aphadvocates.org. Once you submit that request, we will remove you from our master list. 

How We Protect Your Information

Your information is not stored on any publicly accessible servers and therefore cannot be accessed by anyone who would use it for reasons other than your interest in the information we provide to you to support your membership.

Who Has Access to the Information?

In addition to the use of your contact information described above, your information will be shared only as required by law, in a matter of public safety or policy, or as needed in connection with the transfer of business assets.

In compliance with U.S. law, we do not share information with any unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes. It does share with its parent, Consumer Health Advocacy, Inc. and its affiliated businesses and websites.

Links to Other Companies’ Sites

Our websites contain links to sites maintained by companies that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those sites, and we encourage you to use caution when visiting them. In particular, we recommend you view the privacy policy posted on each site.

Privacy Policy Changes

If our information practices change in a significant way, we will post and highlight the policy changes.
