Business Membership Information

Business Memberships are offered specifically to maximize listings in the AdvoConnection Directory, while minimizing the cost to your business. With more listings in the directory, you may be contacted by potential clients more frequently.

You will qualify for a Business Membership if:

1.  There are three people working in your enterprise, of whom at least two are working as advocates.

2.  Both advocates in the enterprise meet our directory listing criteria.

3.  The business membership is triggered by 3 paid memberships.

 

There are two kinds of Business memberships to choose from:

• Premium Business Membership

Business Premium means the lead person and all additional advocate members from the same organization are Premium Members, are listed in the AdvoConnection directory, and may take advantage of all the other benefits of Premium Membership.

  • Three people (3 paid memberships) must be included to trigger any Business Membership.
  • Your business will have its own listing in the AdvoConnection Directory which will appear in all appropriate patient search results. (This is an additional listing. Example: if you have three advocates listed, this will be a fourth listing.)
  • All members from your business will be listed individually in the AdvoConnection Directory using their own locations (zip codes).  They will have Premium Listings.
  • Since all members are Premium members, they can take advantage of all Premium benefits including:
    •  participation in the APHA Forum (at LinkedIn)
    •  Expert Teleconference Call-ins participation
    •  receipt of weekly newsletter (Monday Member Mail)
    •  participation in Special Interest Groups (SIGS)

Pricing for the Premium Business Membership is as follows:

*Discounts are available for lead member who is part of one of our affiliate groups. Only the lead member’s first year dues will be discounted.
** Adding a third member is what triggers the additional Business Premium Directory listing. That means that a Business Membership with 3 members will have 4 listings, with 4 members will have 5 listings, etc.

• Directory Only Business Membership

Business Directory means the lead person (only) is a Premium member. Additional members from the same organization are listed in the patient directory, and receive the Monday Member Mail, but have access to few other benefits of membership. Find comparisons of membership levels here.

Choose this membership if you are interested in adding AdvoConnection Directory listings only and additional members do not need APHA support.

Three people (3 paid memberships) must be included to trigger any Business Membership.

In the Directory Only Business Membership:
•     Your business will have its own listing in the AdvoConnection Directory which will appear in all patient search results.
•     The lead member from your organization will have a Premium membership and a Premium listing in the AdvoConnection Directory.
•     All other members from your business will be listed individually in the AdvoConnection Directory using their own locations (zip codes), with Directory Only listings. (These are not as robust as Premium listings – see this comparison.)

Billing Information:

  • In year 1, if any members are already APHA Premium Members, any unused membership dues will be credited in the upgrade to a Business Membership.
  • The lead member will always have a Premium Membership. All additional members under the same business umbrella must have the same type of membership (Premium or Directory only).
  • The addition of a third person is what triggers the possibility of having a Business Membership, adding the additional listing.
  • All members from one business must use the same business logo in their directory listings.
  • Billing takes place annually for all members to one member business.  Individual invoices will not be sent.  If individual invoices are necessary, then the business does not qualify for a business listing.
  • If applicable, an affiliation discount will be applied only to the lead member and will be granted only in year 1.
